Second Annual Sporting Clay Shoot Results The clay shoot is done. The weather was great other than a bit of wind which affected the clays. I didn't see it but apparently Dustin D. broke a clay with the center of his forehead on the dove tower station and the score keeper wouldn't count it. The top score by Joe Z. was 63 out of 100 but he didn't win the money because he was the scorer that didn't count, "The D.D. Forehead Break Technique". There was a tie for second with 62, Jerky Jim and Sam H. Jerky Jim and Joe Z. are part of Activesportsman.com so they can't win anything. Sam H. won the $100 top shooter prize with a score of 62. Crow S. won the shotgun door prize from Mid America Arms he shot a 29. Sam H. also won the 1 yr. membership door prize to Big River Hunt Club. We had many other door prizes, beek jerky, T shirts, shooting and hunting accessories. 20 shooters showed. Thank You to all who participated. Look forward to seeing you next year.
